Quézide Cunha, majority shareholder and founder, remains in control of Loovi following the transaction in which the company bought back the interest held by Pablo Marçal.
Marçal accompanied the insurtech throughout SUSEP's regulatory sandbox cycle and closes his position as an investor shortly after the company was authorized to become a traditional-segment insurer.
The transaction was negotiated over recent months, in the context of strategic planning aimed at greater institutional neutrality, governance and, on the horizon, access to the capital markets.
Firms involved: PSNA - M&A and regulatory: Roberto Panucci, Daphne Minerbo and Marcelo De Callis. Chenut - Tax and commercial contracts: Luiz Gustavo Rocha Oliveira Rocholi
