PSNA is at InsureTech Connect 2025 in Las Vegas, the largest global insurance innovation event, bringing together insurers, insurtechs, investors and regulators from around the world.
The first day of the event included a section devoted entirely to Latin America, in which the participation of SUSEP - Superintendência de Seguros Privados stood out, with Carlos Queiroz, Director of Prudential Supervision and Reinsurance (DISUP), and Júlia Normande Lins, Director of Market Infrastructure and Conduct Supervision (DISUC), on a panel moderated by José Prado.
The Brazilian regulator's message was clear: the insurance market is an instrument of economic and social development, and Susep wants to be an active part of this process, fostering innovation, competition and inclusion.
"Susep's role is to foster the market, not just to supervise it." Júlia Normande Lins
"Modern supervision demands patience, courage and boldness, but the results show that Brazil is on the right track." Carlos Queiroz
The Brazilian regulatory environment is entering a new phase, more open to innovation, to the entry of new players and to the creation of more accessible and sustainable products. For those who already operate or wish to expand in the insurance market, now is the time to align strategic vision with intelligent regulation.
