Quézide Cunha, majority partner and founder, remains in control of Loovi following the transaction in which the company repurchased the interest held by Pablo Marçal.
Marçal followed the insurtech throughout the entire SUSEP regulatory sandbox cycle and is closing out his position as an investor shortly after the company was authorized to become an insurer in the traditional segment.
The transaction was negotiated over the past several months, in the context of strategic planning aimed at greater institutional neutrality, governance and, on the horizon, access to the capital markets.
